Puvodne gotický kostel, pripomínáný poprvé v roce 1352. Roku 1526 byl rozšíren a upraven a v roce 1861 dostal dnešní podobu s oddelenou novogotickou zvonicí. Z puvodní stredoveké stavby se nejlépe dochoval presbytár. Kostel patríval k stredoveké vsi Újezdec, která zanikla v dobe Jirího z Podebrad.

Originally a Gothic church, mentioned for the first time in 1352. In 1526 it was enlarged and modified in 1861 and got its present form with separate neo-Gothic bell tower. The original medieval buildings are best preserved in the sanctuary. The church belonged to the medieval village Újezdec, which expired at the time of Jirí Podebrad.
