The square shaped, carved stone baptism font in this church appears to have been stained white. The font was gifted to the church on 14 August 1879 as stated by a small well worn brass plaque attached to the font.
The Church in Wales is made up of over 900 parishes. If you live in Wales, you will live in a parish. Each parish covers a specific geographic area and is looked after by a cleric assigned to it. Each Parish may have several church's. The Parish of Llansamlet has three churches within its boundaries.
I could find no evidence of a plaque or sign with the church name or denomination, but I did speak to the Vicar, who confirmed it was a Church in Wales denomination, also shown on the Church in Wales web site.
