This is one of the larger Legion buildings we've encountered in this area, and one of the few purpose-built for the Legion. Many others were taken over by their local Legion, having been built for other purposes.
This Legion has a large War Memorial in the front, dedicated to veterans of the First and Second World Wars and to veterans of the Korean War. There is a second World War II veterans memorial mounted on the facade of the building. As Well, there are two plaques mounted on the building itself dedicated to past presidents and honoured members.
There appear to be about 325 Legion members attached to this branch.
The building has, since 1956, been home to the Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps.
