This 8 foot long Gila monster bench is located at the northwest corner of 2nd Street and 10th Avenue, next to a private residence with a friendly dog.

Created as part of a neighborhood reinvestment program by Hirotsune Tashima and Jason Butler, this bench was placed next to the Dunbar Spring Little Free Library in December 2012. Not only is this lizard hanging around the library, he is actually reading a poem by Paul Laurence Dunbar
