The Parish church of the Holy Trinity, can be approached from two entrances, the steep stepped entrance, off the main road, or the flat level approach around the corner at the tower entrance.

Holy Trinity Parish Church - Ystrad Mynach.
The church was locked when I visited, so sorry no photos inside the church. and the is no real info that I can find on the internet with any substance.
However I did find a book giving the church date of building as 1857:
Davies, Hywel. A history of Holy Trinity Church, Ystrad Mynach, 1857-1957.: H. & J. Davies, 1996.

10.15am Sunday School in Lesser Hall (except during August)
10.30am Solemn Sung Eucharist
6.00pm Solemn Evensong (with Benediction some Sundays) or Holy Eucharist (second Sunday of the month)
