This athletic park could be referred to as Tournament Central, as it contains four ball diamonds, four soccer fields, a football field, a fieldhouse and a playground for the kids. A really large open park, it was officially dedicated October 1st, 2005, not coincidentally Cranbrook's centennial year. As well, the park has a large parking lot in the centre, next to the field house which, incidentally, was a Cranbrook Rotary Sunrise project.
The ball diamonds are placed back to back to back to back, with port-a-potties and room for temporary concession stands between. Being a multi-level park, there are hillsides which can be used for extra seating for the two lower diamonds. All have dugouts, backstops, full fencing and are in excellent condition. They are used primarily for softball and little league.
