This memorial is located on the north side of the Floyd County Courthouse. It was a 4-H project funded by $100 donations from Floyd County veterans.

"The Floyd County Veteran’s Memorial was dedicated on November 11, 2002. The $95,000 memorial was the finished product of Floyd County 4-H’er Skyler Cornelius’ Citizenship and Civic Education project. The monument was erected in 15 months with no fund raisers. Floyd County citizens are proud of the new addition to the Courthouse lawn."
