"This bench mark was used during the First primary levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 136.1420 feet [41.4961 metres] above mean sea level (Liverpool datum). It was included as a side level on the Coventry to Lincoln levelling line. The surveyor's description was No. 106(b). Flintham Church. Bolt in front of tower ; 1.46 ft. above surface (p329)."
