This 1936 granite county maker is located at a rest area in the Caprock on the US 62 between Ralls and Floydada, near where Mama Blaster's grandmother used to come with her friends in the 1920s.

Named in honor of Dolphin Ward Floyd, a captain who died at the Alamo.
