Residing outside the front lobby door of the Lakeview Inn, this 4' tall bear cub is carved from a log of a tree. His little "Welcome" sign is a separate piece, and fits inside a slot designed to hold it. His eyes are resin, and appear to be the only part of this piece that isn't carved directly from the stump. Wooden carving is quite popular in the Branson / Ozarks area, and I've seen several similar pieces before, but this one is quite a little cutie!!!
