Miller School - Bentonville, AR - Former Schools on Waymarking.com

The topographic maps place the Miller School and Miller Church POIs at the exact same coordinates. According to the church web page the Miller Community Church, which is still active, is held in the former one-room Miller School. One side of the school has the typical windows found in an old one-room school and community (or union) church. The other side has no windows; whether they were sided over (although the siding looks very old), or whether it was not windowed so, say, the younger children would not be distracted by the older children at recess and vice versa, or whatever.

There is also a churchyard cemetery here that has graves going back to at least 1895. Even when it was a school, it was probably also used as a union church - the type of old church that had a rotation system of pastors each week; perhaps Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist, Congregational, or whatever. This was very typical of old schools. If also used as a community center on Saturday evenings, it would be used all 7 days of the week, instead of just 5.

Google Earth has a street view of this location. One can see the base of the old hand-operated pump on its concrete foundation, but the pump has been removed.
