Both are old walk behind plows from the turn of the century or earlier, this one likely the older of the two as the other has a small coaster wheel at the front, to aid in turning the plow at the end of each row, making the task a little less strenuous.

While the other plow is all steel, this one has wooden handles, lending credence to our contention that it is the older of the two.

Though the design is definitely John Deere like, that doesn't mean it's not of another manufacture, as no manufacturer's stamp could be found on either plow. Only a few of the John Deeres we have encountered had a stamp or logo on.
