Depicted Insect Hotel is located inside Botanical Garden of Faculty of Science on Veverí street in Brno. It's easy and small insect hotel made of wood (especially made for beetles) and straws (for small individualist bees).

Outdoor collections contain an example of plant systematic and Linné system, one of a kind in the Czech Republic (the Linné system represents an important stage in the development of systemic botany) and flora samples of multiple geographical units from temperate zone. Greenhouse collections are divided into groups of tropical plants, ferns and cycads, palms, cactuses and succulents, pinguins and orchids.
