Buckeye is an abstract modern sculpture located near the Gymnasium at San Francisco State University. Three colorful, decorative benches surround the sculpture to enable viewers to sit and enjoy the view.

Buckeye is an abstract, modern sculpture located at San Francisco State University. It is located on a grassy plaza on the campus. It consists of irregular steel shapes and girders, painted red, yellow and black. To complement Buckeye, sculptor William Wareham was commissioned to build three benches consistent to the central piece. The benches are located around the grassy plaza facing buckeye.

No plaque was found at the sculpture. The title and sculptor were found online.
