Die zwei Meter hohe und 1,60 Meter breite Skulptur stellt eine Menorah dar, einen siebenarmigen Leuchter aus Corten-Stahlbändern. Die Menorah ist ein wichtiges Symbol des Judentums. Aufgestellt wurde die 24.000 Euro teure Skulptur anläßlich der Einweihung der Synagoge Beith-Schalom am 09. November 2011.

The menorah is described in the Bible as the seven-lamp (six branches) ancient Hebrew lampstand made of pure gold set up by Moses in the wilderness and later in the Temple in Jerusalem. The menorah has been a symbol of Judaism since ancient times. This sculpture is 2 m high and 1,60 m wide and made out of steel. It was placed in this small park on 09. November 2011 at the opening of the synagogue Beith-Schalom nearby.
