West of Creston by about 8 km. is a wildlife protection area adjacent to the Kootenay River. In it are boardwalks to allow bird watching and wetland wandering.

On one of the trails near the large building in the wetland which is the interpretation centre is this little arch bridge. It crosses over a channel which allows water to flow in and out of a canal by the interpretation centre. The bridge is all wood except for the support arch itself, which is fabricated of square steel tube and angle iron.
A pedestrian only bridge, it is about 10 to 12 metres in length and just over one meter wide, with a pronounced rise over the arch.
