From the Highway 3 - Highway 95 junction about 4.5 km west, one will cross three steel bridges within about 15 km. The others are truss bridges and this, the smallest of the three is the only arch bridge. It is about 20 metres in length, including 3 metre concrete and steel girder extensions on both ends.
All these bridges cross the Moyie River, which meanders back and forth crossing the highway several times.
