This school opened up in 1977 with its main colors being black and gold. The school mascot is the Capistrano Cougars. It is in the top 2.5% in all schools in the country. It is located right near Interstate 5 at Avery Parkway. The parking lot here is very large. There is a lot in the back, near the tennis courts and one near the front entrance. There is also a hidden lot below the school.
