What is the Community Book Share?
Books and stories can be a wonderful part of family life.
The Community Book Share is a way for adults and families to enjoy books without due dates or cost.
Here is how it works:
You can take any books you want from this shelf.
They are yours to enjoy until you no longer want them.
Return them to the shelf or pass them on to another family to enjoy.
You can also bring in any books from home that you want to share, to add to the collection.
A little information about the complex:
The Creston and District Community Complex was newly refurbished and upgraded. It features a hockey/skating rink, arena, 6 sheet curling rink and lounge, meeting/banquet rooms and many recreational programs.
There is also have a full-size soccer field, two baseball diamonds, a playground, two beach volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits.
For water enthusiasts there is indoor lap and leisure pool with hot tub with an overlooking fitness centre and walking track as well as dedicated group fitness space and multipurpose rooms.
Programs for children include after-school program such as: highland dance, drawing, karate, and music introduction and advanced aquatic courses.
Adult programs include Pilates, aerobics classes, dance, and drop-in for aquafit and lane swimming.
The new Aquatic Centre includes a leisure pool, lane pool, hot tub, steam room, and aquatic programs for all ages.
