For a fee you can ride to the observation deck for great views of the city, or even better, enjoy a meal at the revolving restaurant up top. I recommend their breakfasts.
Nearby attractions in the Seattle Center complex include the Monorail, the EMP (Experience Music Project), the Seattle Science Center, Fun Forest Amusement park and festivals in the commons area around the Seattle Center Fountain. The Center area is also home to the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Oprera House, the Key Arena, and the Seattle Children's Theater.
