Westlawn Cemetery has beautifully maintained grounds provided by the City of Cranbrook. It has approximately 425 interments and is still active. Adjacent to the Westlawn Cemetery is the Old General Veteran's Cemetery, a very interesting place to visit.

Death: July 23, 2008 - Cranbrook, British Columbia
Giuseppe "Joe" Romeo Senior was born on January 3, 1934 in Bovalino, Italy. Joe arrived in Cranbrook in November of 1957.
He spent most of his life working for the Cranbrook School Board Office. Joe was a hardworking man that did everything for his family. He always put them first in everything he did.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Giuseppina, his sons Bruno, Carlo, Joe Jr. and daughter Cristina; as well as his six grandchildren. He also leaves behind a brother and his family and relatives back in Italy."
