Here's a pair of harrows at the Creston Museum, either of which can make one happy he wasn't a farmer 120 years ago. Horse drawn, it was put into use shortly after the sod had been turned with a horse drawn single bottom plow.

Then too, one would have no need for fitness gyms and rowing machines. Walking behind one of these for 12 hours, manhandling it around the corner at the end of each row and lifting it over the bigger rocks would guarantee a good night's sleep. But first, don't forget that we must look after the horse, milk the cow, gather the eggs and put the chickens in for the night. A few other animals on the place need feeding, too.

This is one of the many outdoor displays at the museum, for which there is no admission fee required.
