Lois'N'Frima's Ice Cream Parlour has been serving the Byward Market since 1984. In March 2013 they opened a second store located in the Ultramar plaza on Main Street Stittsville. The entrance is located behind the Heads Up Barbershop at the west end of the mall.
They serve a wide variety of ice-cream including soft-serve, home-made hand-dipped flavours in cones, sundaes and milkshakes. The ice cream recipes were developed over two years of trial and error in the 1980s.
There are over 60 flavours with every small batch crafted in Ontario using dairy from the local farms. They also serve nut free, sugar free, gluten free and lactose free.
There are a few chairs inside and more tables and chairs outside. The parlour is open seasonally from March to October or November.
