Interesting tree trunk monument which bears both a Woodmen Circle and Woodmen of the World seal, yet both of the markers in this plot belong to men.

The tree trunk itself has the Woodmen Circle seal on it, while the sculpted scroll below it features the Woodmen of the World seal and the following inscription:

Carl McMillan

Born
July 17, 1890

Died
Aug. 12, 1910

The rest of the inscription is badly weathered, but might be interpreted under the right light (please, no chalking). The only other marker in this plot belongs to Harry McMillan, and it simply lists his dates as 1883-1946. His headstone is between the Woodmen monument and a tree. Why the tree trunk has both seals is a mystery.
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
