This two-story light grey brick and limestone building is located at 101 South 2nd Street. The date stone, located on the northern side of the eastern facade, reads:

The entryway consists of a glass door with small windows on either side. A bronze eagle with wings spread is above the entryway in front of a glass window. Three windows flank the entryway on each side. Above the entryway window is an entablature that has the words: "Clinton Missouri" Seven windows are on the second story. The entablature at the top of the building reads: "United States Post Office".
