...jsou bývalá obec, mestská ctvrt a katastrální území, a od 24. listopadu 1990 pod názvem Brno-Chrlice také nejjižnejší mestská cást statutárního mesta Brna o rozloze 949,27 ha, ležící na levém (východním) brehu Svratky. Predtím byly Chrlice soucástí mestského obvodu Brno IV. K Brnu byly spolu s nekterými dalšími obcemi pripojeny 26. listopadu 1971. Od 8. dubna 2005 má mestská cást Brno-Chrlice také vlastní vlajku. Pro úcely senátních voleb je území mestské cásti Brno-Chrlice zarazeno do volebního obvodu císlo 58.
