Beautiful technicians
The neo-Renaissance building of the current Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University in Joštova street is decorated with three statues of female figures standing in the bays. It is an allegorical personification of the three disciplines that have been in this school - originally the German Technical University - taught: Electrical engineering, architecture and engineering and chemistry.

Novorenesancní budovu dnešní Fakulty sociálních studií Masarykovy university na Joštove ulici zdobí z bocní strany, obrácené smerem k Údolní ulici, tri sochy ženských postav stojící v okenních výklencích. Jde o alegorické zosobnení trí oboru, které byly v této škole - puvodne Nemecké vysoké školy technické - vyucovány: elektrotechnické strojírenství, architektura a stavitelství a chemie. Stavba pochází z roku 1906.
