The memorial is at the base of a flag pole. The memorial is made of stone. It has the engravement of American eagle on either side of the stone. The stone reads: "No One Has Greater Love Than This To Lay Down One's Life For One's Friend. John 15:13. The San Carlos Parish Community Gratefully Remembers Those Who Served In The Armed Forces Of The United States During Times Of War And Peace. Whose Courage And Personal Sacrifices Defended And Preserved Our Freedom."
