Actually this house isn't really odd shaped, but it stands upside down. This house is located at the entrance of a small theme-park "Wald-Wipfel-Weg". The first attraction on this park was the socalled Wald-Wipfel-Weg", a path leading to the top of the trees in a small forest by using a track build for this purpose up to about 30m above ground.
There are also two other attractions, a small trail for natureexperience and a path with some optical illusions.
Since autum 2013 this upside-down House is another attraction of the park. From inside the park it is possible to walk inside the house. Visitors of this house see the interieur from a diffrent perspective because they're walking on the ceiling now. A quite funny experience.
It is possible to see the house from outside the park. If you want to go in, you first have to visit the park and then spent some extra 2€ for the entrence to the upside-down house.

To log this waymark it is not necessary to pay an entrance-fee for the park or the house. You just have to visit the entrance area of the park.

Eigentlich handelt es sich nicht wirklich um ein außergewöhnlich geformtes Haus, es ist lediglich auf dem Kopf stehend. Das Haus befindet sich am Eingang zum "Wald-Wipfel-Weg" in Stankt Egelmar im Bayrischen Wald. Die erste Attraktion dieses Parkes war der sogenannte Wald-Wipfel-Weg, der den Besucher über einen Weg auf bis zu 30 Meter Höhe in die Spitzen des Waldes führt.
Es gibt zwei weitere Attraktionen, einen Naturlehrpfad und einen Pfad mit einigen beeindruckenden optischen Illusionen und den nötigen Erläuterungen dazu.
Seit Herbst 2013 gibt es eine weitere Attraktion, eben dieses auf dem Kopf stehende Haus. Für Besucher des Wald-Wipfel-Weges ist es gegen ein zusätzliches Entgeld von 2€ zugänglich. Besucher erleben ein Haus aus einer ganz neuen Perspektive, da sie nun quasi an der Decke laufen und die gesamte Einrichtung eines Hauses auf dem Kopf steht. Eine sehr witzige Erfahrung.
Das Haus kann auch von außerhalb des Parkes, d.h. ohne Eintritt zu entrichten, angesehen, aber nicht betreten, werden.
