This museum is located on the picturesque Malaysian island of Penang, in the historic Georgetown area. It is set back a little from the main Chulia Rd (home to many backpacker style hotels and entertainment) on a small side street. The museum exhibits cameras, stretching back to the days of Daguerreotypies and as far forward as the new fangled digital camera. A good range, and well presented. Unfortunately, and paradoxically, photography is forbidden inside the museum area itself, however, there is a cafe and gift shop area where photography is allowed. The museum is obviously commercial, but also worth a visit. Entry fee for an adult is 20 Ringgit (~$7).
