A junior college, Spokane Falls offers over 40 Liberal Arts/Transfer pre-majors and over 20 Career/Technical job training programs. The
pre-majors range from Accounting to Veterinary Medicine. In the technical education programs, one may earn a Certificate of Completion or Associate of Applied Science degree in over 100 technical and professional specialties.
Spokane Falls opened its doors to academics in 1967 and today has an enrollment of slightly over 8,300 students and an academic staff of about 650, with an administrative staff of about 375. The campus is comprised of 11 major educational buildings, a library, an administration building, a maintenance building, a football stadium, baseball diamonds, landscaped areas, on campus housing and several parking lots on a 113 acre campus. The college publishes The Communicator, a bi-weekly student newspaper, both in print and
online.
