Uhlerstown is a remarkable tiny community & lock along the Delaware Canal State Park. It has a great recreational path & interpretive signs along the canal in the area. The community & lock are nestled beneath a cliff like hill & wide farm fields.

From the community there are wide expanses of open farm fields toward the river. Within walking distance are 63 historic buildings, 4 historic sites, and 16 historic structures including a oaken covered bridge in the center of the village. Also within walking down stream on the canal or River Road is a is a great county park with camping & many other attractions. Reference used: Wikipedia
