From the intersection with Smith Rock Way in Terrebonne, travel generally N on US97 for about 0.6 miles. Turn left on Lower Bridge Road and continue for roughly 4.8 miles. Turn right on NW Quail Road and continue for 1.2 miles. At the T-intersection, turn right on NW Quail Road and continue for 1.7 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 3" brass cap set in 24" concrete monument, 4x4" at the top

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is an orange Carsonite witness post with a SURVEY MARKER decal 14" S of the corner, which is just E of the road. Found three western juniper trees, each with a yellow BEARING TREE tag and a nail and brass washer stamped COUNTY SURVEYOR.


What property is this mark defining?:
Survey history is found in Deschutes County Surveyors Office, Oregon Corner Restoration Record No. 1711. The corner was set during the CROOKED RIVER RANCH NO. 5 survey over T14S R12E SECS 2 3 11. The Deschutes County Surveyors Office survey number is CS06488. The corner is on the Deschutes-Jefferson Counties boundary. SE of the corner is Bureau of Land Management land; else private property.
