This boat ramp is at a public access area at the northwest corner of Loon Lake. It will be seen while driving along Loon Lake Public Access Road.

Loon Lake Public Access Road runs east off Shore Acres Road, which, in turn, runs west from Loon Lake-McVay Pit Road, which runs east off Highway 292, a mile west of Highway 395.
There are not a lot of public access areas on this lake and this is the only one on this side of the lake. The next nearest is near the south end of the lake. To our knowledge there are three boat ramps on the lake, but we're not sure if the others are public access.
This is a summer getaway lake, with many summer cottages lining the shore, intermingled with the odd year round house. Loon Lake itself is a pretty small town with a minimum of facilities.
There is ample parking available at the boat ramp.
