Currarong is a small village on the northern reaches of the Beecroft Peninsular. It recently lost its Australia Post outlet as, unlike other coastal towns, its permanent population is in decline. There are many lovely older style homes here but as residents pass on their homes are sold & become weekenders or holiday accommodation. I had intended to find a few caches, a couple of waymarks & move on to St. Georges Basin but stayed here instead.
