The plaque reads, "Hawkins, Jams G. Killed 1891. Shot brining in Tom Gallagher, a prisoner. His brother was Lee Hawkins Jerome's first dentist. King, Charles Emerson. Killed 8/27/1910. Shot in the back by N.B. Chavez in Mexican town at the age of 47. Lowry, James. Killed 7/17/1918. Shot in the stomach by Porfirio Hernandez in a Mexican uprising. Rees, Davis Killed 1933. Found dead near Nevada Cafe. He has been shot in the stomach, and the killer was never found."
