A small abandoned cemetery for folks who died in the brief Wink oil boom of the 1920s is recalled only by this marker.

The marker is on the SH 115 on the way to the Wink Sinkhole.
Marker Number: 3835

Marker Text:
Burial site of 26 persons who died during the early days of the oil boom, 1926-1929. Shifting sands over the years have erased all vestige of the graves. "We carved not a line, we raised not a stone, but left him alone" Wolfe. (1964)
