Synagoga byla jako jedna z mála v Cechách v empírovém stylu v letech 1838–1840. Roku 1890 byla renovována. Nad vstupem je štít s hebrejským nápisem a lvy držícími štít s hodinami. Bohoslužby se zde konaly do druhé svetové války. V roce 1956 byla budova upravena na kino, v soucasné dobe slouží jako diskotéka, a v jižním krídle je místní základní umelecká škola. Je chránena jako kulturní památka Ceské republiky.

The synagogue was builed, as one of the few in the Czech Republic, in the Empire style in 1838-1840. In 1890 it was renovated. Above the entrance is a shield with a Hebrew inscription and lions holding shield with clock. Services were held here until WWII. In 1956 the building was adapted for the cinema, currently serves as a disco, and in the south wing of the local Art School. It is protected as a cultural monument.
