It was a donation of the 'Württembergische Feuerversicherung AG' to remember their 150 anniversary in 1978. The statue stands in front of their office building.
There's a plaque with some details. But the artist is unknwon.
The life-sized statue is made of bronze.
St. Florian is the patron saint of fire insurance and firemen.
