In what was, until recently, a bakery, this thrift store is on Main Street Chewelah, beside the old Bank of Chewelah building.

This thrift store is operated by Communities Under Power (CUP), an outreach program supported in part by the Chewelah Free Methodist Church. The store appears to be well stocked with kitchen ware, dishes, clothing, bedding, furniture, toys, appliances, bags, luggage and electronics. The store is open 10 to 5 from Monday to Saturday.
CUP is a privately operated halfway house which aids persons addicted to drugs or alcohol. CUP functions like a school, teaching its students how to become contributing members of society instead of teaching them scholastics. All the students of the CUP live with the operators of CUP at their two story Victorian style home in Chewelah.
