This statue of the famous Civil War general is located just south of the White House in President's Park. It's a large statue with a several reliefs of different battle scenes and portrait medallions. What a prime location for this statue! This bronze equestrian statue of Civil War General William Tecumseh Sherman was cast in 1898, but not dedicated until 1903.
