The first thing that needs to be said here is that this playground is right beside Lower Arrow Lake, which is really a wide spot on the Columbia River, created by Hugh Keenleyside Dam, a couple of miles downstream. Though the river flows very slowly here, it's still a good idea to keep a close eye on the little ones when near the water.

Syringa Creek Provincial Park is a great camping, fishing, boating spot - a semi wilderness park with most of the requisite facilities, such as pit and flush toilets, boat launch, drinking water, picnic areas, group camping, playground, Sani dump station ($5.00 per use) and wheel chair accessible toilets.

This playground, by the beach, has several pieces of equipment to keep the kids busy climbing, sliding and swinging. Nearby are several picnic tables, while the washrooms are just to the north, a couple of hundred feet away.
