The clock is high over the entrance arch and a statue of King Henry VIII. It is set into a recess in the stone with some decoration carved into the stone at the edges of the mount. The face is square and is possibly black, faded to grey, or faded dark grey. There are no minute marks. the hours of 11, 12 and 1 are arranged along the top edge; 2, 3 and 4 are down the right side; 5, 6 an 7 along the bottom edge with 8, 9 and 10 completing the sequence on the left side. The marks are gold in colour and are Roman numerals for a clock face. The hands, also gold in colour, are of a fairly simple design and have short tails with round discs at the ends of the tails.
The clock was not working.
