This mural made of blue tiles, a traditional Portuguese art very common in the country, specially between the 17th and the early 20th Centuries, is located in a public terrace. It can be found in one of the old neighborhoods of the city, Alfama, featuring outstanding views over the Tagus river and the roofs of this part of the city.
The mural shows a panoramic perspective of Lisbon, probably in the 50's or early 60's, with a destroyer in the foreground. But the main character of the mural is Lisbon, viewed from the river.
It follows a drawing by Martins Barata and it was painted by Victória Ferreira. Not dated, probably from the 60's.
