This small obelisk with bronze plaques was placed by the American Legion
"In Memory of All Veterans of All Wars"
It is toward the centre of the cemetery from the entrance, at the bottom of a footpath leading up to a large statue, flagpole and memorial near the centre of the cemetery.
This memorial obelisk is one of many we have found in cemeteries of the area, and, I suspect, one of hundreds of similar ones throughout the country.
Type of Memorial: Non-Specific Memorial
In Honor Of: All Veterans of All Wars
Marker Text: American Legion
In Memory of
All Veterans
of All Wars
Who Put it Here?: The American Legion
Description of Memorial: When visiting cemeteries in the area we began to look for this obelisk first upon entering the cemetery, as we knew there was a 90% chance there would be one.
