On the north side of Highway 9, the camera is about 850 metres west of Range Road 30, looking west.

Alberta Highway Traffic Cams are operated by Alberta Transportation and Parks Canada. The cameras are updated three times per hour.

Alberta has found many ways to spend its oil money, one of which is these highway webcams, almost all of which are also weather stations. Each tower, aside from the webcam(s), is equipped with an anemometer, weather vane, thermometer, barometer and a road temperature sensor.
