The facade is built of smooth sandstone similar to the Courthouse, with horizontal rows of blocks across the front and vertical rows at each end. The words "The Clinton Eye, Established 1885," are engraved into the central block in the upper level. The building has a recessed entryway with a modern metal door and showcase windows.
