Tree Bus Shelter - San Antonio Texas - Artistic Bus Shelters on Waymarking.com

This concrete bus shelter is three sculpted trees with benches around their trunks and a thatched roof of branches. It was originally built for streetcar passengers on what was then called River Street, now Broadway Street. When the streets were paved in 1929-1931, the piece was relocated to its present site.

It is listed on the Smithsonian Outdoor Art Inventory. (visit link)
