Cochrane East Highway Web Camera - Cochrane, Alberta - Web Cameras on Waymarking.com

This is one of three cameras on this tower, which is about 1.5 km. west of the Highway 22 overpass. This one is looking east.

Alberta Highway Traffic Cams are operated by Alberta Transportation and Parks Canada. The cameras are updated three times per hour.

Alberta has found many ways to spend its oil money, one of which is these highway webcams, almost all of which are also weather stations. Each tower, aside from the webcam(s), is equipped with an anemometer, weather vane, thermometer, barometer and a road temperature sensor. The weather data is telemetered to Alberta Transportation and appears on each webcam's web page.
