The clock is mounted high over the door and is illuminated at night. It is located within a stone recess designed to take the clock face. The face is a mosaic but, sadly, some of the tiles have become dislodged leaving gaps in the mosaic. The tiles are all gold in colour but there are some blue pieces visible so it appears that the gold pieces were laid over the blue pieces at some time. There are two metal rings near the edge of the face. These hold the hour marks between them which are Roman numerals. The minute marks are on the outer edge of the outer ring - a bit like cogs on a bicycle wheel. The hands are simple in design, black in colour and without tails.
The clock was not working (Feb 2014).
